Why Get Involved?
We all want our lives to have meaning, a deeper purpose.  Despite many demands on our time, including job and family responsibilities, there remains a hunger to give back and make an impact beyond our individual lives.  Becoming involved in a parish ministry is a powerful way to give of yourself and make an impact on the lives of others.  Whether serving in a soup kitchen, sharing our faith with future generations, or applying your professional skills on a parish committee, there are countless ways to use your talents to further God’s kingdom right here in our local community.

Getting involved in a parish ministry is also a great way to make connections with other parishioners and find your niche.  In a parish as large as St. Bartholomew, it is these smaller communities that truly make our parish feel like home.  Most importantly, getting involved in service offers a profound way to follow in the footsteps of Jesus, loving and serving others as we strive to love and serve our God.
