Although all baptized Christians are proclaimers of the Good News, some are called to do so directly. These are our Lectors, parishioners who have responded to the call to proclaim the Word of God from Sacred Scripture during the Liturgy of the Word at Mass. 

Lectors will be trained and are expected to be familiar with the equipment and layout in the sanctuary as well as the prayerful preparations needed prior to proclaiming the Word. Regular training sessions are generally held four times per year.
 

English Lector Training
Our next lector training session will be announced a few weeks prior.  Anyone interested in becoming a lector is welcome to attend training, and current lectors who wish to improve their skills are also encouraged to come.

Training sessions are offered for all prospective lectors and current lectors.  If you want to join the Lector Ministry, training sessions are the perfect time to engage and begin to contribute. 

Next Training Session (English): September 23rd in the Church at 6:30 pm to 8 pm.
