GRIEF SUPPORT MINISTRY
Following the death of a loved one, life patterns change, and the process of adjustment can be complex, especially if one needs to go through it alone.
The trauma, the pain, and the ‘roller-coaster’ of emotions that accompany a loss can make the journey of grief more bearable with the assistance of others who have a shared experience. If you have lost a loved one and need help and support through the grieving process, we are here for you. Go through grief with the support of others.
New Day Grief Support Ministry
New Days is a ten-weekly session that supports those grieving the death of a loved one at any stage.
New Day offers the bereaved these possibilities to:
• Become more aware of where we are in the grief journey
• Better embrace our loss
• Find healing in sorrow
• Keep from getting stuck in negative attitudes or emotions
• Find strength and solace in the company of others
• Discover the promises of God to those who grieve and where he is to be found in our grieving.
We meet once a month on the 1st Monday from 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm in the Old Parish Hall for fellowship, support, and prayer.
Maggie Dailey is also available to meet individually for Spiritual Direction. Please know that she is currently in the last year of a 3-year formation, but she is already able to meet with anyone who would like her to walk with them as they discover the movements of the Holy Spirit in their life.
There are several other more experienced Spiritual Directors in our parish, such as Irma Gonzalez. Maggie can share their contact information with you if you would prefer.
Maggie Dailey will contact you. Write your name and email for the information below:
