These 20 lessons are an introduction to Gregorian chant for children. The program is simple, beautiful, and short, leading children to sing chant one step at a time.
This course aims at building a healthy future for Catholic children and their liturgical formation. Children need to be immersed in the Church's tradition to acquire a Catholic identity. Since ancient times, people have understood that music is an essential part of Education.
Classes begin December 2nd and are open to children aged 7 to 13 years old.

Instructor: Maria Sutterfield
Maria is currently a student of Master of Sacred Music at the University of St. Thomas. She is a lyric soprano who has been featured as a soloist in recitals, oratorio, chamber music, and national and international opera.
She began her artistic and vocal studies at the age of 16 in the extension of the National Conservatory of Music of Peru, a student of Maestro Rosa Parodi (CNM), Luciano Garrido (UNI) Graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Business from Universidad Nacional Mayor de San Marcos. (Peru). She is a Master of Sacred Music student specializing in vocal performance. Student Dr. Brady Knapp. University of St. Thomas and Mohamad Salman DMA (intended UH Moored School of Music). Maria has been part of video music projects for universities, TV ads, YouTube channels, and companies, as part of the team consultant and advisor
