[In English] New days is a 10 weekly session that supports those grieving the death of a loved one, at any stage.
New Day offers the bereaved these possibilities to:
• Become more aware of where we are in the grief journey
• Better embrace our loss
• Find healing in sorrow
• Keep from getting stuck in negative attitudes or emotions
• Find strength and solace in the company of others
• Discover the promises of God to those who grieve and where he is to be found in our grieving.
Grief Support is hosting an event called "Surviving the Holidays" this Tuesday, November 21 from 10:00 am - 12:00 pm in the FLC, room 202. I will send you an electronic invitation with more information.
We also meet once a month on the 1st Monday from 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm in the Old Parish Hall for fellowship, support, and prayer. Our next meeting is on Monday, December 4.
Maggie Dailey is also available to meet individually for Spiritual Direction. Please know that she is currently in the last year of a 3-year formation, but she is already able to meet with anyone who would like her to walk with them as they discover the movements of the Holy Spirit in their life.
There are several other more experienced Spiritual Directors in our parish, such as Irma Gonzalez. Maggie can share their contact information with you if you would prefer.
Session starts on September 12
in the FLC 10am– 12pm
