Meet Breanne DeMarco!!
Breanne DeMarco grew up in the Diocese of Austin and was heavily involved in various outreach ministries in the Catholic Church until she graduated and left the country to serve as a full-time foreign missionary. She served in Ecuador, Mexico, St. Lucia (the Caribbean), Italy, England, Spain, and the Philippines. After returning home she began to serve in ministry Stateside - giving talks at youth retreats and events all over the U.S. She also spent some time studying at the Theology of the Body Institute in Pennsylvania and attending various conferences. After that, she entered the convent to discern her vocation and lived in religious communities for about 6 months. When the Lord closed the door on that opportunity she decided to walk the Camino (a pilgrimage from France, across northern Spain, to the ocean) in order to seek His direction. The Lord would eventually call her back to Central Texas in order to become the Campus Minister at Texas State University in San Marcos, Tx. Most recently, she got married (during a global pandemic) and moved to Katy, Tx to live happily ever after with the man of her dreams. In her free time, Breanne loves reading about the Saints, eating bowls of ice cream, and riding her Harley through small Texas towns.
Breanne and her husband Brian are parishioners at St. Bartholomew and are currently awaiting the arrival of their first child (due 5/23/21).
